Salvation Mountain Photoshoot ...

Hoy les cuento que tenía un shooting súper interesante, mi amiga la modelo americana Carla Nicholson me había invitado a participar en un shooting editorial en un lugar llamado Salvation Mountain , con ropa de los diseñadores Oseas Villatoro y Tanya Jenkins .

La aventura empezaba cuando yo los vería en un punto en específico en San Diego ya que Carla vive más adelante y vendría por algunos modelos a San Diego y nos iríamos todos juntos carpooling al de aquí al lugar de la sesión que estaba a unas 3 horas de aquí más el tiempo que tardamos en salir aproximadamente hicimos 4 en llegar lo cual nos dio tiempo de conocernos menos los modelos ( bueno a mí que no los conocía ) . Ellos eran Micah, Andrew, Cora y Carla. En la locación ya estaban los makeup artist y los fotógrafos que algunos venían de OC. LA y Arizona y también ya estaba ahí el último modelo que participaría en la sesión Diego. Les cuento que el lugar estaba muy irreal era una laguna muerta ( si toda la vida que alguna vez tuvo ya no existía por la contaminación) y el pueblo la mitad estaba en ruinas y destruido tipo pueblo fantasma así que nuestras fotos saldrán increíbles .

Después nos fuimos a la 2 da locación que estaba a media hora de ahí, Salvation Mountain que es una instalación de arte en la mitad de la nada y donde haríamos más fotos.

Les cuento que la pase increíble ; me encanta poder trabajar con personas nuevas , sencillas e interesantes, sobre todo me encanto que sin querer o queriendo Carla junto a tipos de modelos completamente diferentes pero que combinamos perfectamente. Muchísimas Gracias a todos, fotógrafos, maquillistas, modelos y sobre todo a Carla por la invitación.

Today I had a super interesting shooting, my friend American model Carla Nicholson had invited me to participate in an editorial shooting at a place called Salvation Mountain, with clothes by designers Oseas Villatoro and Tanya Jenkins.

The adventure began when I would see them at a specific point in San Diego since Carla lives more up north and she would come down to San Diego to pick some other models and me and we would all go together carpooling from here to the place of the shooting that was about 3 hours away plus the time it took us to leave approximately 4 hours to arrive, which gave us time to get to know each other more since I didn`t know the other models. They were Micah, Andrew, Cora and Carla. At the location, the makeup artist and the photographers were already there, some of them came from OC. LA and Arizona and there were already there including the last model that would participate in the session Diego. I tell you the place was very unreal was a dead lagoon (all the life that once had no longer existed because of pollution) and the village half was in ruins and destroyed ghost town type so our photos will come out incredible. Then we went to the second location that was half an hour away, Salvation Mountain which is an art installation in the middle of nowhere and where we would take more pictures.

I tell you I had an incredible time ; I love being able to work with new, nice and interesting people, above all I love that without wanting or wanting Carla brought together completely different types of models but that we match
