Pues resulta que mi amigo Christian Valadez me invito que fuera madrina del 10 Festival del Pozole y el Mezcal en Chilpancingo Guerrero, lo cual lo acepte muy feliz el viaje empezó así.... Pasaron por nosotros a las 7:30 am ( nosotros refiriéndome a Guille y a mi , obvio lo invite para yo no ser la única en no saber en que consistía el evento ) a mi casa y empezó el viaje hacia Chilpancingo Guerrero ( obvio casi toda la carretera me dormí) en cuanto llegamos nos llevaron a desayunar aun restaurante muy rico en la ciudad, después de eso nos llevaron al hotel San Ángel ( muy bonito por cierto) y nos dijeron que íbamos a descansar un ratito antes de que llegara maquillista para arreglarme y estar lista para el recorrido . En el hotel a la hora que me hacían el hair&makeup llego la directora de Turismo del Estado a darme la bienvenida ( si recuerden que yo era la madrina del evento). El recorrido fue en un carro alegórico por las principales calles de Chilpancingo terminando en la cede del evento La Feria de San Mateo Navidad y Año Nuevo. Durante el recorrido iba vestida con un traje típico que hacia alucion al evento , tomando mezcal y aventando dulces a la gente que se acercaba a vermos ; entre la banda y los bailarines que mostraban sus diferentes tradiciones ( también notamos que tengo muuy mal tino jajaja casi golpeo a todos los visitantes). Llegando al lugar me toco presentarme junto con los directivos , gente del gobierno y darles la Bienvenida al evento , después acompañamos al sacerdote a bendecir las pozolerias... Cominos super rico en la Pozoleria Doña Berna ( muchisimas gracias por cierto ) y probamos algunos mezcales. Al caer la noche fui a hacer una sesión de fotos rápida con el fotógrafo Gustavo Alcala. Al día siguientes pasaron por nosotros al hotel y nos llevaron a desayunar al Conjunto Turístico Jacarandas ( donde por cierto es muuy bonito y comimos riquisimo ) saliendo de ahí nos toco ir a entrevista de radio para promocionar el evento a la estación Máxima Capital 94.7 y Guille también dio entrevista. Terminando ahí me toco ir al hair&makeup por que tenia que cortar el listo para dar inicio a la Feria ( que dura 4 días ) junto con el Gobernador del Estado de Guerrero y el Presidente Municipal De Chilpancingo.Terminando fuimos comer a otra pozoleria ahí mismo y pasamos a las exposiciones a ver que ofrecían !! Muchisimas gracias a Christian Valadez ; al Gobierno del Chilpancingo ; a la Secretaria de Turismo del Estado y a las Pozolerias ( por su rica comida) , a todos los expositores que nos dieron a probar sus ricos mezcales y las botellas que nos dieron de regalo y al café Atopingro por el rico cafe nos dio, muchisimas gracias a todos por el increíble par de días que pasamos y el super trato que nos dieron !! Me divertí muchisimo y me encanto aprender tanto sobre sus tradiciones y costumbres ....
It turns out that my friend Christian Valadez invited me to be the special guest for the 10mo Festival del Pozole y el Mezcal in Chilpancingo Guerrero, which I agreed happily, the trip started well, They came to pick us up at 7:30 am ("meaning us " Guille and me, obviously I invited him so I wouldn´t be the only one that not didn´t know about the event) to my house and began the journey to Chilpancingo Guerrero (obviously almost all the trip I slept) as we got there they took us to breakfast in a really good place in the city, after that , they took us to our hotel San Angel (very nice by the way) and I was told to rest a little bit before the Glam squad got there to get me ready for the event. In the hotel at the time they did my hair&makeup the representative of Tourism came to welcome me (if you remember I was the special guest of the event). The tour was on a float through the main streets of Chilpancingo ending at the mai event gives at Feria de San Mateo Navidad y Año Nuevo. During the tour I was dressed in a typical costume that made allusion to the event, drinking mezcal and throwing candy to people who approached; between the band and the dancers they showed their different traditions (also noticed that I have such a bad aim I almost hit almost all visitors). Arriving to the place I got to introduce myself together with, people of the government and welcome all to the event, then we accompanied the priest to bless the pozolerias ... Thanks to Pozoleria Doña Berna (for the really good food they give us ) and tried some mezcales . By nightfall I went to do a quick photo session with photographer Gustavo Alcala. The following mornig they came to pick us to the hotel and took us tohave breakfast to the Conjunto Turistico Jacarandas (which by the way is very pretty and we ate soo good ) after that I had a radio interview to promote the event of that day in the radio station Maxima Capital 94.7 and Guille also gave an interview. Ending there I had to go with the glam squad for hair & makeup because I had to be ready and pretty to officially cut the ribbon to start the show ( It lasts 4 days) together with the Governor of Guerrero and President Municipal De Chilpancingo. After that we went to eat to another Pozoleria , and after to see exhibitions presented there !! Many thanks to Christian Valadez; the Government of Chilpancingo; Secretary of State Tourism and Pozolerias (for its cuisine), to all exhibitors that we got to sample its rich mezcal and for the bottles they gave us and to coffee Atopingro for the gifts , thanks to all for the incredible couple of days we spent there and for treating us so well !! I had so much fun and I loved to learned as much as I did about their traditions and customs ....
