Let´s go to the snow she said ...

Me dice una amiga , " oye vamos a la nieve no ? " obvio yo feliz dije que si , pero sabia que había nieve por aquí cerca y me dijo que en Julian California si , así que nos pusimos d acuerdo y fuimos. Julian es un pueblito montañés dentro del condado de San Diego California tiene aproximadamente 1.621 habitantes, los antiguos habitantes de Julian eran originalmente por la gente Kumeyaay( indios nativos de estas regiones). Es un pueblo como antiguo y siempre cae nieve en invierno. Salimos de San Diego y se nos hizo algo tarde, así que pasamos al Casino Barona que esta en las carreteras, tenia muchisimo tiempo que no iba a un casino de las reservas indias en California y bueno los buffets que hay uff !! Claro que comí como si no hubiera mañana jajajaja .

Ya después de comer tomamos carretera again para Julian, ( ya que llegamos obviamente ) ya no había nieve !! estuvo haciendo calor estos días y pues adiós nieve !!! así que nos pusimos turistear en el pueblo !! tenia desde que era niña que no iba ahí , así fue como nuevo volver a ir , tiene una sola librería super antigua y muy interesante con libros mega vintage y el dueño es muy amable. Caminamos por las tiendas ( que son de cositas de antiguedades ) y los Hoteles también parecen de película , nada pierde su toque de ciudad montañesa antigua .. El día estaba muy soleado pero aunque no había nieve , el viento que soplaba estaba super mega frió , te congelaba la cara y los habitantes de ahí super casuales en shorts !!! oseaaa poooor ? . Julian tiene ( para todos los que conocen o planean conocer ) el mejor apple pie del mundo mundial , así que no puedes ir al pueblo sin comerte una rebanada de apple pie. El pueblo cierra a las 5 pm así que nos fuimos temprano y nos dirigimos al lago de Cuyamaca que al este de la Reserva India Capitan Grande y al sur con Julian. Dentro del parque se encuentra el Pico Cuyamaca, la segunda montaña más alta del condado de San Diego y el lago, llegamos ahí apenas anochesia y bueno la temperatura bajo muchisimo el aire era tan frió que llego el punto que no sentía mis manos !!! pero las fotos valieron la pena , ha habido algo de sequía por estos rumbos en los últimos años y sumale los anuales wild fires que han mucha vegetacion muerta . Pero nos toco ver venados salvajes, yo no los conocía en vivo y son enormes pero muy lindos me recordaron a bamby ...

My friend said "hey let´s go to the snow?" Obviously I happily said yes, but I knew it was no snow around here soo she told me in Julian California, so we went. Julian is a mountain village in the county of San Diego California has about 1,621 inhabitants, the ancient inhabitants of Julian originally were by the Kumeyaay people (native Indians of these regions). It´s a old town and it snows in winter. We left San Diego a little late, so we spot at the Barona Casino that is on the road, to eat , I had a very long time since I went to a casino on Indian reserves in California they have such a nice buffets uff !! Sure ate like there was no tomorrow lol.

And after lunch we took the road again for Julian, (arriving obviously) there was no snow !! Thease pasted days were hot so goodbye snow !!! so we went sightseen in town !! I haven´t been there since childhood, so it was like new to go back again. The town has only one super-ancient and interesting vintage bookstore with old books and the owner is very friendly. We walked around the shops (which are antique stuff) and also hotels that appear like a movie, nothing loses its touch of ancient mountain city .. The day was very sunny but although there was no snow, the wind was blowing super mega cold. It froze my face and I could see the inhabitants super-casual in shorts !!! why? . Julian has (for all who know or plan to meet) the best apple pie in the whole world, so you can not go to town without eating a slice of apple pie. The town closes at 5 pm so we left early and headed to Lake Cuyamaca to the east of Capitan Grande Indian Reservation south with Julian. Within the park is the Cuyamaca Peak, the second highest mountain in the county of San Diego and the lake, got there just at sunset and the temperature got a lot , the air was so cold that it got to the point that Icould not feel my hands !!! but the photos were worth it has been something of drought around here in recent years and the annual wild fires that you see a lot of dead vegetation. But we got to see wild deer, which was soo cool !! they are huge but very cute reminded me of bamby ...
