Solsticio de invierno en Tecate ....

Me entere que hoy era el solsticio de invierno y en un poblado en Tecate BC hay un lugar con pinturas rupestres que se llama Vallecito zona arqueologica. Pues quise ir y llevar a mis perros también para que conocieran el cerro... Duramos todo el día en el carro, feliz manejando y en camino al cerro encontramos unas pelotas tiradas ( ya que me acerque me di cuenta no eran pelotas eran un tipo de calabaza salvaje ) mis perras creyeron que eran unas pelotas jajajaja

También les toco escalar las piedras gigantes en que hay por todos lados y corrieron libres por el cerro.

Pasamos por zonas arqueologicas de los indios Kumai ( los nativos de estos rumbos ) , también pasamos a Tecate (el pueblo donde hay un pan dulce riquisimo y que apenas hace 2 años lo nombraron oficialmente pueblo mágico , es el único en Baja California ) y de ahí es la tan famosa cerveza tecate así que fuimos a su fabrica. Pasamos por la presa de tijuana/ tecate que se llama Abelardo L Rodriguez y esta algo seca (sigue en sequía estos rumbos ). Aprovechando que ando por estos lares, no dude en comer una grandiosa y gigante torta de carne asada muuuy rica btw !!! ... Fui un día muy lindo la verdad , no conocía esta parte y eso que soy de estos rumbos !! ...

I found out that today was the winter solstice and in a Village in Tecate BC there is a place with paintings called Vallecito archaeological area. Well I wanted to go and take my dogs too ... We spend all day in the car , happy driving and headed to the hills where we found something that look like yellow tennis balls ( as I approached I realized they were not balls were a type pumpkin) my dogs thought they were balls too lol !! We also climb the giant stones that are everywhere and ran free on the hill. We passed archeological sites of Kumai Indians ( Native these regions ),we alsowent to Tecate (the village where therethey have really good sweet bread ,and barely two years agothe town was officially named magical town is the only one in Baja California) and this is the birth place of the famous tecate beer so we went to the factory . We passed the dam of Tijuana / Tecate called Abelardo L Rodriguez and it was kind of dry ( drought continues in these parts ) .Because im in these parts off the country I couldn´t leave without eating a huge Carne Asada Torta !!! that was really good btw !!! It was a very nice day truthly , I did not know this part of the state soo glad I got to see it !!...
